Purchases & Subscriptions (Pro)
I was charged the wrong amount. How do I get a refund?
All authorization and refund actions are managed exclusively through Apple App Store and Google Play. You must request a refund directly from them within 15-45 days depending on your region:
ContextForge has no ability to reverse Apple/Google transactions; they have full authority over money movement. Please contact them first.
My Pro features disappeared after reinstalling the app / changing phone. What should I do?
Go to Paywall → Click "Restore Purchases". The app will contact Apple's or Google Play's purchase servers to validate your subscription entitlement.
- iOS: Restore Purchases uses `Transaction.currentEntitlements`, typically 1-3 seconds.
- Android: Subscription wall leans on Google Play Billing; make sure you are logged into the Google Account that completed the purchase.
If auto-restoration fails (e.g. account removed on device), please email us with your order ID (APPL followed by 10-11 digits) so we can investigate using our Supabase backend.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
iOS Users can modify auto renewals at any time. The subscription remains fully-owned paid period retains AKW functionalities until expiry date.
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Kop Wheel → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kop Wheel → Cancel subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You do not need to request a refund from us to stop auto-charging.
Why am I unable to restore on a different device or after factory reset?
Android purchases may be locked to the Google Account or a device fingerprint. If you changed Google accounts or your encryption storage seed, the app may lose track of the anonymous account UUID.
- Fix: Login to Google using the original account used for purchase, then reinstall the app and choose "Restore Purchases" in the main paywall sheet.
- Advanced Fix: If original purchase token or order ID shows in your Google Play account details, email us your purchase ID to manually reconcile on your account.
Wheels, History & Features
How do I export and share my wheel results?
- CSV Export (Pro only): From any wheel, tap the History icon → Tap Share → Select Export CSV and select "Save to Files". Filenames are timestamped (e.g. `history_20260815.csv`).
- Image / Text Share: Tap Share in the main wheel screen to instantly send a photo to messaging apps or copy text to clipboard.
- Import / Export JSON / TXT: Grand Master lists or configurations can be saved and imported anywhere; symmetric stickers can reuse patterns across multiple devices by JSON format.
Does Kop Wheel guarantee random results?
Yes. Rolling is powered by cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generators (CSPRNG), identical when you press spin. Each spin outcome is statistically independent of rows, weights and touches history. No arrangement of future outcomes can be pre-determined from past results.
Statistically, 100 consecutive spins should on average produce roughly 100 unique results given typical uniform distribution. Bias signifies numerical input mistakes — please reset weights and spin again.
What are the main differences between Free and Pro?
Pro unlocks unlimited wheels, 100-spin history per wheel, CSV export, all premium themes, presentation mode and removes the ad banner. The Free tier includes 3 wheels, 20 recent results, 5 base palettes and no ads run indiscriminately.
Troubleshooting & Bug Reports
The app doesn't load after updating — what happened?
- Force close the app completely and restart it.
- If the problem persists, restart your iPhone and launch the app once needed.
- Ensure your App Store subscriptions are still signed in (Settings → Apple ID → Payment).
Systemativally ensuring the Supabase Project (our backend) is healthy is rare; typically the issue is local device storage or statistics data corruption causing the UI to show nothing.
Why did I see "Purchase token conflict" during or after a restore attempt?
This occurs because the same purchase token has appeared in two different Anonymous Apple ID / Google Play session hashes. Google Play allows one-tx assertion to prevent double-dipping purchases.
No need to ask friends for their ORDER ID. Just contact us with your original purchase receipt; our backend will verify ownership via Supabase.
What is the minimum operating system required?
- iOS Support: iOS 15.0 or later (StoreKit 2 minimum version).
- Android Support: Android 8.0 (API Level 26) or later for Billing Client v3 support.
